"I had suffered with groin pain on and off for 6 months or so thinking I had groin stain, trying to rehabilitate myself so I could continue to play sports and be active. I would get better and start playing football again but the pain would return and I always found sneezing painful. After further investigation I was diagnosed as having 'Gilmore's Groin', and recommend to see Mr Viswanath courtesy of one of my colleagues who had previously had surgery with him. After an insightful consultation with Mr Viswanath we decided on a surgery date that suited me the best.
I opted to go ahead with Mr Viswanath for his reputation for treating this injury and his minimally invasive approach to the surgery which appealed to me. I noticed the difference that when I sneezed that I no longer had the pain I used and the groin felt immediately better. I am now four weeks after surgery and I am back at the gym and able to get back sports when I feel ready. Many thanks to Mr Viswanath for his professionalism with dealing with my injury.

I am writing to thank you and your staff for the treatment I received yesterday. The nursing staff throughout the whole process were both friendly and professional, as was the Anaesthetist, everyone keeping me advised of what was happening, when and why. Please thank them all on my behalf.
It is the first time I have had a general anaesthetic so it was all new territory! I would also like to thank the younger Registrar who was with you yesterday as it was he who arranged for the Pre Assessment to be done immediately after clinic appointment in January. This in turn allowed me to take the opportunity of the cancelled slot for yesterday.
Having the operation done now I should be fit and well before our holiday starting 25th March and I will also be able to get back to my fell running training sooner rather than later.
